• Shipment data: origin, destination, cargo type, transport documents (B/L, AWB, CMR, customs declarations)
• Financial data: billing data, payment information (for customers only)
• Communications: emails, phone calls (not recorded), quote requests
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (see cookie policy)

3. Purposes and legal grounds

• Performance of contract: organising transport, customs, warehousing and related administration
• Legal obligations: retention under customs law, tax law and accounting requirements
• Legitimate interest: responding to quote requests, maintaining customer contact, fraud prevention
• Consent: sending newsletters or marketing messages (if you have opted in)

4. With whom we share data

We share your data only as necessary with:

• Our partners and agents: shipping lines, carriers, warehouses, customs agents in connection with your shipment
• Government authorities: customs, tax authorities, for legal obligations
• IT vendors: hosting, email, accounting software (all processors under a data processing agreement)

For transport outside the EU/EEA we ensure transfers are based on adequate safeguards (model contractual clauses or adequacy decision).

5. Retention

• Quote requests without follow-up: 12 months
• Customer data and transport documents: 7 years (tax retention)
• Customs declarations: 7 years (customs law)
• Marketing consent: until withdrawn

6. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption (HTTPS), access control, regular backups and confidentiality agreements for employees.
